I'm running the flatpak version -- 3.38.5 (flatpak git900a819) and have no issues with Gmail/G-Suite aside from Google's security protocols. I run a main install at my desk and a secondary install on my traveling gear. Even though I'm running the same Linux version, at the same kernel/patch level with OAuth2 -- Google always insists on blocking which ever machine I switching to until I come in via webmail to say "Yes, it was me" The issues I have with Flatpak are things requiring interaction with the host system .. sending attachments, or using the "open with default application" for incoming attachments. On the odd version where open with works, it usually means that "Save as" doesn't
