I imported the message from a file (didn't think to try that) to "On This Computer" and it displays nearly perfectly - the aircraft is incorrectly oriented (E rather than NE - a font issue?) in the header details of the message pane. If I import it into my regular mail account the import fails. So the issue looks to be communication between Courier and Evolution. I will also raise the matter on the Courier mailing list and see what happens.
