Why would you need hundreds of different downloads to cover all the different 
distros?  What do you feel the need to list?

3 would cover the whole lot of them.  

All those other projects and many, many others can manage it.

Same for http://projects.gnome.org/evolution/download.shtml - download,
compile from source code to binary, enjoy.
Again: No, we want list (and keep up to date) links to compiled versions
for every single distribution out there. That's the work of distros.
