I observe the same behaviour in Evo 2.26.1; if it's still happening in 2.28, then suggest logging it as a new item in bugzilla. > The reason I am finding the lack of responses to this query so > puzzling > is very simple: it seems that either nobody else has experienced > this, or that they have, and have ignored it. I think most people use auto-complete on a partially typed name or email address, rather than clicking the "To" button, which is probably the primary explanation for people's quietness. > Is it possible that people would actually put up with > having their Contacts incorrectly sorted every time they need to > retrieve one when composing an email? In general, I suspect the "File under" field is not being used as consistently throughout Evo as it could be. For example, in the contact editor dialog, I think "File under" should be used consistently as the name of the dialog box, which is logged as: https://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=575312 (obviously that's a very low-priority bug, but I think it's symptomatic that there are a few remaining places in Evo's UI where "full name" is used when "file under" should be used instead as the display name and/or sort order). -- All the best, Nick. _______________________________________________ Evolution-list mailing list Evolution-list@gnome.org http://mail.gnome.org/mailman/listinfo/evolution-list
