Thanks Milan for the response. Yes, that sounds like the same problem,
and I'm glad there's a fix!

Being new to Linux (openSUSE 10.2) I'm not entirely sure how to do the
update though.  I searched for gtkhtml in Yast and found gtkhtml2 (among
some other packages that also had "gtkhtml" in the name).  But it didn't
indicate there was an update available.  In fact, it showed that the
installed version (3.16.0-1.6) was actually newer than the available
version.  How that can be, I don't know.  But if you can provide further
guidance on how to proceed I would appreciate it.
