But, at risk of not addressing the distinctiveness of what you have just said to me (if I don't then apologies), I could try restating what I just said, but slightly differently. - gravity is geometric - two objects at different distances from a massive body, in geosychronous orbit relative to eachother, are not the same frame in relativity, because one is moving faster relative to the speed of the other. Because that's the only way to get geosynchronous situation.
