I'm glad you clarified that. What you actually said (on  Wed, Feb 05,
2014 at 07:53:16AM -0800) was:

Your clarification above repudiates this statement utterly.

There is no shame in modifying your opinion in this way, particularly
when the previous statement was in error. Let's move on.
