Musk pledged 45 million dollars per month to a PAC supporting Trump 
directly, not to the party.  

He's also endorsed Trump.

Trump is loudly anti-EV, and his VP pick might be even more so.  JD Vance 
wants to switch the $7500 EV tax credit to a subsidy for buying US-made 
ICEVs.  Last autumn he introduced a bill in congress to do so.

This doesn't seem to be in Tesla's best business interests.  I'm not an 
expert, but I think the legal term is "breach of fiduciary duty."

But then Musk DID say a while back that we should think of Tesla as an AI 
and robotics company, not an EV company, so ......
