... and this one looks more likely to make it to the US. I've previously mentioned the Citroen EC3, which has recently gone on sale in Europe. It's a very affordable EV, priced at under 24,000 euros (about US$26k). It's a supermini-size (subcompact) tall, boxy hatchback with a 44kWh battery and a 320km range.
Citroen is well known and sold all over Europe, but it hasn't had any presence in the US for decades. So it's very unlikely that the US will get the EC3. However, it might get a Fiat-branded version, the Grande Panda. The Fiat will be built on the same platform and will use the same 44kWh LFP battery and drivetrain as the Citroen. The article linked below suggests a 150mi range for the US version. At the typical small-car 250Wh/mi, I'd estimate something more like 170mi range, but we'll see.
