That warranty statement sound like a case of runaway lawyer syndrome. They put in language that isn't justifiable, necessary , or even reasonable just to provide a way to disallow warranty coverage if you do something they don't like.
The way it's worded, even leaving your cellphone on charge while the car is parked would be a violation of the warranty. Aren't there legal protections against unreasonable terms in a warranty?
