Hmmm, You almost make that aspect sound like a bad thing. From my observances, the majority of other drivers I encounter on the road need and deserve this "feature".
Of course the newest road-worthy ICE that I own is almost 40 years old, so they wouldn't be getting much useful data back from the curb service delivery nozzle when I filled up.
