On sunday, I saw for the first time, one of Amazon's new Rivian delivery
vans. Nice to see the beginning of a switch to electric. I was bicycling
and didn't have a chance to snap a photo, but you know what they look
like.
I live on a steep hill (the sighting was elsewhere) and the roar and
stench of trucks, though not constant, comes and goes all day long. The
sooner they get replaced with EVs, the better.
As a cyclist, I really appreciate getting rid of gasoline trucks and
especially "diseasel" trucks (to borrow Bob Rice's term). As long as
they don't park in the bicycle lane ... :)
