The buyer of the car did not buy the vehicle from Tesla. He bought if from a third party.
My understanding is that the car was either a trade in or buy back by Tesla. Tesla then sold the car at auction to a third party dealer. The dealer listed the car based on the original sticker features. Tesla frequently removes upgraded features on resale cars in order to lower the price and move the vehicle quicker. The FSD was part of the original car package, but not on the vehicle sold at auction.
