Ah, another victim of "Amazon Associates." I knew Amazon had an amazing return policy *on things they sold,* so I bit on some SD cards at a "too good to be true" price. I did not understand that their return policy was not the same if ordering from their "Associates." In fact, there was no obvious indication on the web page that I was even ordering from an "Associate." Turns the SD cards were counterfeit, down to the SAMSUNG label. They would format to the advertised 64GB, but in read-write tests, would hold no more than about 16MB without error. I told Amazon I wanted to return them for a full refund, and they sent me a shipping label. I sent them back on my dime. Weeks later, I queried Shamazon about my refund. They said their "Associate" had not notified them that they had been received yet. I even sent Shamazon tracking info, proving delivery. They would not relent: their "Associate" had to let them know they had been received, going so far as to suggest that I "one" could have faked the tracking info. As you put it, "I ate the loss," and WILL NEVER BUY THROUGH SHAMAZON AGAIN! Jeff Bezos has enough money. He doesn't need any more of mine.
