I wouldn't expect a sitcom to real-life truthful throughout. From little I glean from the promo trailer it seems a nyc urbanite couple are now living in a decrepit, falling-apart house and having to learning how to live in the country (= the mess).

If you are looking specifically at the U-Haul 4 x 8 enclosed trailer, their web site says it weighs 850 pounds. Another Google search show that nobody really knows what the towing capacity of a Beetle is, but it seems to be around 1,000 pounds. That means that all your stuff has to weigh less than 150 pounds. I was really glad the coordinator had arranged to have a Volt pih, Leaf EV & Tesla-3 EV on display for me to explain EVs to the public. it was a small EVent, with a 3" storm down pour with ice-cube size hail for 20minutes, but I got to work with the EV interested public from 10a to 3+pm (running just on adrenaline). I got home, hoarse, sun burnt, and exhausted.
