I recently replaced a set of 4 12 volt deep cycle lead-acid batteries (280lbs)
with a set of lithium ion batteries. (80 lbs). They are new and pulled from
sets of Chevy Volt batteries. Got them from a fellow on eBay. The parts,
batteries, BMS and cables ran about $1600 for everything. The fellow, Al
Bullock, was VERY helpful in my several post-purchase calls with questions. I
am quite happy with how the three wheel bike performs now.
