I assume you mean 100 AH (amp-hour) batteries. They should be of sufficient size to operate your motor, certainly under a light load, but see below. > when i connected this in series it shows 102v at the ends. That SHOULD indicate fully charged batteries. > all connections are good but when i give the throttle it didn't run at all. It is possible that you have either a bad connection (even though it may look good), or a defective battery with high internal resistance. You should test each battery individually under a 25 amp load. Another way to test is to connect your entire battery string to a known load, such as a fixed resistance (heating coil) of around 4 ohms. This should draw a current of roughly 25 amps. Then measure the voltage of each battery, at the battery's terminals, and also at your cables' terminals. BTW, if you are using marine (leisure or caravan) batteries, you should know that they are not designed to produce more than 25 amps continuously. They will certainly produce much more that that into a large load such as a road EV's motor, but the high currents will shorten their life appreciably. > please confirm me that, if i used 200AH 6v batteries rated at C5, will > it work with my current system. If your current batteries are wired correctly and are in good condition, they should be able to power your motor. But it is also true that the 200AH 6v batteries would last longer and give you more range.
