I hope you saw the links I posted. I first saw similar charts a few years ago
- and those links aren't necessarily the genesis of the data.
I just googled for the charts and posted a few images I had seen before in
presentations.
My impression is that maybe some of the data has changed somewhat, but the
general characteristics still hold.
There's some info online, and I know that UCI is doing a lot of work on micro
grids and energy storage, as well as power to gas. NREL, too, if you're looking
for hard data. I'm sure others, too, but those folks Are the ones I interact
with quite a bit.

I would like to see this chart and to know its provenance. If it is dated, as
so much info floating about the internet is, it could be old news and no longer
accurate.

Basically, the chart says that it you compare the various energy storage
technologies, some are well suited for discharging over short time periods and
some for long, and some are well-suited for storing large amounts of energy,
and some smaller.
Here's a similar chart that seems to show up better, and shows where batteries
rank in comparison to other technologies.
Some energy storage can provide seasonal storage, which may be needed in the
future to handle the amount of renewable electricity we expect to be generating.
 How this helps.
