GM did a great job in shipping the Volt and my next EV may very well be a Bolt. Before we get too giddy here, let’s no overlook the fact that they haven’t shipped the Bolt yet.
Their planned price/range value is fantastic, but it’s still just a plan. Tesla has a record for delivering fantastic EVs and even they haven’t delivered such price/range. Remember how long it took to actually *ship* the Volt? It was in a Transformers movie long before it arrived in a showroom. The wait was excruciating. I wish GM the best, but I’ll believe it when I see it.
