Len, I am with you. But, if you make a fair accounting of the cost of fuel versus the cost of electrons - it does look a lot better. Then you can reasonably say that the EV is better for the environment. That much is true but many folks won't let that sway them. In the even more intangible side - you don't get to freely choose what kind of EV to buy. You want a used EV, you have little to target particularly if you are in the middle or on the right coast.
It is getting close, but I it is still a costly decision. If you are not approaching wealthy then it is not yet an option.
