It is primarily about speed and drag coefficient - not that it is a motorcycle or a car. An unfaired motorcycle is in the same neighborhood of drag as a blocky car. I had a BMW R75/5 and it got maybe 45mpg, maybe 50 mpg. Considering the difference in weight, rolling resistance, the car is pretty good - except as the car usually has accommodations for 4+ that are not used, and the cycle only sits 2.
Can you share the information about the 75wh/mile vehicle? If that is really just talk, then you could waste a lot of time trying to do that level of efficiency.
