Dear Thuy and members,

Thank Th so much for your very fascinating and detailed discription ^_^ I
totally agree with you at the idea that this is also a good opportunity for
friends, family members and, of course, couples to show their friendship,
their love by giving gifts to each other or having some parties together.
It's not too difficult to understand the reason why the youth welcome such
culture like this. Every event is just the pretext for them to gather and
having some drinks. People drink both when they're happy and when they feel
sad. Even the mid Autumn's eve, a particular evening for children only in my
country, is now considered as a festival for couples and young adults to go
out and have drink ^_^ It's one of the main cause contributing to the
popularity of Christmas in a Buddhism country like ours ^_^

However, there was a historic event occuring to Vietnamese people in that
special evening. The Viet Nam football team second time in the history
defeated the ThaiLand's after 10 years of waiting, opening widely the door
to win the first championship in Asia region. It was unbelievable. All fans
in big cities rushed into roads, boulevards to celebrate the victory of
their Vietnam's team instead of celebrating a special Christmas's eve for
themselves. No matter who they are, boy or girl, young and old, children or
adults, they all are fans of Vietnam's team and they all have an
overwhelming love for the country Vietnam. They wore Vietnameses flag on
their shoulder, runing cheerfully on roads and shouting clamorously
"Vietnam - Champion! Viet Nam - Champion". That was a none-sleeping night
for Vietnam's fans. I along with some friends were also of heated fans that
night. We just returned home at about 3 AM. ^_^ four days later, we once
more time had a marvellous party when Vietnam's team again defeated
Thailand's in my own country to win the championship at the first time in
our history.

That was an extremely special happiness for Vietnam's team and fans. And it
was selected as one of ten emergent events of Vietnam in 2008. It really
deserves that high appreciation.
Returning to the activity of our group, I guess many of you are in long
spring festival and are busy with plans for a new year. So I suggest that we
could consider this topic as a place to share your opinions or discription
about your spring festival. OK? tell us more about your life if you don't
mind ^_^

looking forward to hearing from you :)

Thanks,
Nam
