Hi Nam,

Although we live in a buddish country but Chrismas is still a special season
for us to go out with friends or gather round family, isn't it? I agree with
you that in recent years, Vietnam has imported many traditional cultures
from the Western countries, which makes Vietanmese people in general and
young people in particular have more opportunities to enjoy themselves. I
saw many people on the street on the Chrismas day, which made many big
streets in Hanoi become congested. This year I experienced the Chrismas
atsmophere earlier. Althoug I didn't have a big party with my family in the
Eve night but it was still an unforgetable memory in my life. Three days
before the Chrismas, two my brothers, my sister in law and I bring two my
brothers' angels to the city centre to feel the Chrismas atsmophre in the
every corner of Hanoi. For me, it was a good opportunity for us to refresh
our relations because during the year we didn't have much time together. The
children were very excited when seeing Big Chrismas Tree and Santa Claus in
almost every stores in Hanoi. Then we had a cheerful dinner outside. I
spent the half of next day going out with my classmtes. Firstly, we sat in
front of the Opera House to talk each other because we hadn't seen each
other for a long time. Then we walked across many old streets in Hanoi to
feel the breath of them and the hustle-bustle of people who were preparing
for their Chrismas day. We took a lot of pictures of views and people in
Hanoi and realize that how beautiful Hanoi is. Finally we had a small party
in a small restaurant in a small street in Hanoi and finished a joyful days
with my friends in the Chrismas atsmophre.

On the Eve night I didn't go out but stayed at home to watch the final
football match between Vietnam and Thailand with my roomates. I guess that
like me millions of Vietnamese people had a football party instead of a
Chrismas party in the Eve night because this was only the second time
Vietnam had won Thailand. Of cource, to celebrate the victory of Vietnam's
football team and welcome Chrismas day we also had a Chirismas cake without
candles. Although the Eve night was very cold in Hanoi but the victory of
Vietnamese team was warm enough for me to have a nice sleep on that day.
By the way, for Vietnamese people in this group, can you describle for me
how people living near your house and you celebrate the victory of VNmese
tean when we got golden medal in AFF cup?^_^_^_^
your friends
Nguyen Thuy
