hello elham and other friends thanks for this topic. For me, although i havent seen many foreign ads ,but from some ads of usa which i have ever seen,i can feel sometimes a big difference between our country's ads and those of usa. in some point,some ads can reflect the thinking style or the characteristic of people in that country .take one for example ,i once saw a usa ad which described that two group of staff were performing a virtual war in the office .each group equipped themselves well with bombproof clothes and fake rifles and bombs which seem to be made of plastic, during this "fierce" gunfight, people in both groups were "shot down "one by one ,lol at last there was only one survived in the "battlefield" and in the last scence , those fallen staff rise up and get to their own work like nothing happened. actually till now , i am still a little confused about what this ad intend to express for us.lol,maybe i overlooked some details which contains the products they want to sell or maybe they want to advocate a modern way of relaxing staff from higher work pressure in office ,anyway ,the idea that they took an office as a kind of playground is totally new to me and at first surprising to me .but after a second thinking , i attribute this to the pursuing high -level freedom of amercian charactistic. besides ,i favour that ads can tell us sth more or less about one country .i think some cultural elements have been saturated into some ads ,take my country ,china for example, we have many ads which integrate some culture features such as kungfu ,tai chi ,Daoism or Confucianism , and so on.and as was said , from some products advertised ,we can see the specialties of one country.as for whether we can get a lot about one country from advertising or not,lol i think that cant be reached by only a few ads ,maybe u really can do that if u have loaded up on many ads of that country. so that is my opinion for this topic .thanks again for the question.
