I was thinking about this too, and actually tried both options successfully: unsubscribing by sending an email (many people might not notice that it's a different email address than the list itself), and by clicking the link. In both cases a confirmation mail arrives which I have to react on (either by again replying to the mail or by clicking on another link and pressing a web button). If companies however subscribe internal lists here, where in turn many users are subscribed, the users might not be aware of the email address that actually is subscribed here. They would just receive the emails via that intermediate list and can not unsubscribe their final email address from the mozilla enterprise list. That might be a problem, but we can't do much about that on this list except for stating a policy that subscribers must be individuals and hoping that companies respect that policy.
