Hi Sysadmins I’m a techie but not a Sysadmin, joined the mailing list about a week ago for the wrong reasons. What is happening is that Firefox is now deploying Quantum (vers 57), in doing so a bunch of users are loosing their favourite extension, including one very popular extension which isn’t ready to migrate to web extensions yet. Then they learn they can install FF ESR which maintains security updates and they keep their old extensions for a while. On the ESR download page it is exactly as James Pearson has stated “highly recommended to join this mailing list” - when all else fails follow the instructions :)
