I want to add one more thing to this, because it might be important to the
people on this list: Oracle itself has announced that the Java plugin will
be deprecated: https://www.java.com/en/download/faq/jdk9_plugin.xml

Anyone still using the Java plugin should plan on moving to other
technologies posthaste, no matter the Firefox support decision.
