One area we should think about are improvements to the Friends of GNOME website[1] (some of things related to this have been mentioned in previous post’s and are documented on the wiki)[2].
I understand that the official foundation color is green, I suspect this is a legacy from the past. If you visit the foundation website[3] you get the impression that its purple because the headlines and some graphics use that color, should we consider to change the official foundation color to purple (can suggest this to some other list as well)? Personally I think we should, its a calm, friendly color that I think reflect the values of GNOME. One action item for the Friends of GNOME website program is to change box colors from green to purple, and update some other graphics. Its possible to support the foundation[4] by shopping at Amazon.com, do have any data on how much revenue its generates? The books that are featured are old and in many cases outdated, is it possible to update the list? Are they other alternatives to the Amazon.com integration we should consider? This items can also of course be discussed during the GUADEC Engagement Team BOF[5]. 1 http://www.gnome.org/friends/ 2 https://wiki.gnome.org/Engagement/FriendsOfGNOME/HowWeCanImprove 3 http://www.gnome.org/foundation/ 4 http://www.gnome.org/friends/amazon/ 5 https://wiki.gnome.org/GUADEC/2014/BOFs/EngagementTeam -- -mvh Oliver Propst _______________________________________________ engagement-list mailing list engagement-list@gnome.org https://mail.gnome.org/mailman/listinfo/engagement-list
