In the meantime, is anyone driveing a rotary axis with direct drive to the H-bridge using pwmgen mode 2 and quadrature encoder feedback, I'd love to see snippets of your hal file. It looks to me like that would be a pretty simple way to run the VNH3SP30 based boards. And, has anyone dummied up such a beast before the hardware was built by useing a simulated encoder to replace a real encoder? I've prowled thru the wiki, but no one is using a pwmgen in a servo environment. Seems like everyone is using a dac and adc. I feel like I am re-inventing the balloon tire, starting with the schraeder valve. Or am I and its a dead end, if so, head me off at the Wolf Creek passes summit. Thanks.
