Is it really so heavy that you need a hoist or winch?       A cheaper
solution is a rope and a set of pulleys.      If you have a marine
hardware store near you you can find some really nice 3:1 or even 6:1
pulley systems.  Buy the kind made for single person racing dinghies
as they are strong enough    Of if you have a lathe or printer make
you own that use skateboard bearings.

Also at the marine hardware store are one-way rope cleats but once you
see one you could make one in a few minutes.

BTW, I would not trust a lag screw in a ceiling joist.  Run a strap
other the top of the joist.
