Hello, I have a rack tool changer. I suffer from the fact the tool ID in the spindle is lost with a power off/on cycle. I would like to save it before linuxcnc power off, and restore it automatically when switching on my machine.
Looks linked tooIInSpindle variable of iocontrol, but I do not find how to write it from python script. I have also tried to add "M61Qx" MDI command in RS274NGC_STARTUP_CODE parameter without success. Another option will be to learn from "sim/axis/remap/iocontrol-removed" and write my own iocontrol implementation. Any other idea ?
