The connector has 10 pins.  I haven't opened up things to find out how 
many are connected.

It also has an air hose going to the spindle.

It has a parallel port connection.

  The controller  has outputs for a 4 axis machine.
The tool setter and the three limit switches are wired to a 11 pin 
serial port like connector that mates with the control box that that has 
the stepper drivers.
