There is an echo in here. Maybe John and I are alone, but I think far fewer
homing and touch off mistakes, where a previously established setting was
in-advertantly foobared, is caused by the auto coupling between the last
axis moved and these two functions. I have destroyed my Z hundreds of
times while trying to fine tune the X. After a while, it becomes quite an
irritant for me.

The Home and Touch Off popup boxes themselves really should contain a dot
per axis, defaulted to off, perhaps allowing multiselect for the Home
function but mutually exclusive for Touch Off. Whatever, but _make_ us
confirm the axis to apply it to. More button clicks, yes, but way fewer
mistakes too. IMO. YMMV. ;-)

Perhaps this choice also could be incorporated into the popups as two more
dot buttons? It does seem like a desirable feature.
