Little OT: They are so inexpensive that I was setting up a PC for 3D modelling few weeks ago. That PC was from one of the machines that I retrofitted to LinuxCNC (got it for free:)) ). I have no idea, why did they put such a powerful machine with dual-core Pentium in there (now with a Quadro 600 videocard that is meant for CAD, this PC spins and turns one of my SolidEdge models with hundreds of parts better than 6 months old Phenom X6 with high-end gaming video card). That PC just needed bigger RAM, videocard and HDD. I was looking at HDD prices - they increased a lot last winter, because several big factories in Thailand were flooded last autumn. I ended up with Kingston 32 GB SSD for my laptop and laptop's 250 GB HDD went to that 3D modelling station. SSD was cheaper and I also got SSD for the laptop - I wanted that for some time already...
