I built a routing machine and spindle has a VFD, which is now operated
only by its control panel - Start/Stop button and a potentiometer for
setting speed. I guess that it has built-in Modbus capability, but I
have so much trouble with the machine already that I have not even
started of thinking, how to get VFD under LinuxCNC control.

I do think that I might try to upsell that to my customer, once
everything else is sorted out, but for that I need some very explicit
"how-to" instructions in documentation, because I do not yet have any
experience with Modbus.
