There was some help there, but it didn't seem to fix it on this box. I had posted on the pclos forum and was given a link on one of the reprap pages that did seem to apply to the unbuntu-10.04 LTS box on the mill, but after that had been done, the final line of their little procedure, which started visolate, up chucked all over itself because the i915 driver has no 3d support. I tried to run gnome-control-panel over the ssh -Y connection and wasted the kde setup on this machine and was forced to do a reset button reboot to recover that after I had posted a reply on the pclos forum. In retrospect, that was likely one of my better dumbassed moves. ;-) So, my next question is: Has anyone here figured out how to enable any 3d gfx stuff on their D525/i915 video motherboards?
