To all,
I ran into a problem where a part was scrapped on a Emc controlled
machine running the axis interface on a mill.
This is the line of the program in question........
G0G90G54T1
The next line is the M6 command.
The machine incorrectly positioned on the Z move. Tool #1 offset was 11.500
inches. Apparently the control did not pick up the offset for Tool #1. The 4
inch face mill collided with the part and still showed 23 inches or so to go on
distance to go.
The EMC version is 2.3.0. Does anyone have any thoughts on this? I feel the
program should as follows.........
G0G90G54
T1M6
