Worse still, the Y axis homes in the minus direction (on the horrifying Bridgeport "E" control Chris speaks of). This means any fixturing that overhangs the back of the table could interfere with the column. I've had to disassemble a fixture to rehome on one of these machines. Whenever I hear someone complain too loudly or too long about something in EMC, I recall some of these things that were wrong with commercial controls and think, "You have no idea...".
