This is a good point and I am with you for as long as you are not going to 
stretch the limits of the part you make. In my case, this is rather often true 
unfortunately. when I touch off I always check the milling limits and visally 
that is quite convinient. Apart from this, one really could look at it as a 
nice gadget, especially when considering the amount of cpu 'wasted'. As I 
announced, I will set up a test box and play with it and let you know how I get 
along. It will be my opersonal findings though, so expect some coloured opinion.

I will point it to a symbolic link. Like that I'll have access both ways: 
Touchy to its fixed source directory and for the various projects their priject 
directory. As mentioned I use this approach already successfully with axis for 
my master / sub program jobs.

Up to now, I just hit the line and said start from here, I still have a long 
way to go until I know gcode as do know the inside of my pocket!
