Hi,

I would like some indication if possible of how big a job it would be to
get emc running on ubuntu 9.10. Im hoping someone may have already done it.

I would like to do this because I am developing my software to generate
gcode on opensuse 11.1 using monodevelop and the latest version of mono,
which is only available on ubuntu version 9.10. Not bothered about using
opensuse but do want to continue with mono and c#. (Sorry guys but Im
just not interested in python). It would be nice to develop my program
on the same machine as emc if possible.

My main emphasis (at present) is to continue developing my program but I
would be willing to spend a little time on getting emc running on 9.10
so long as it wasnt going to take more than a couple of weeks.

Dont know enough about emc's requirements or where to start. Would it
just compile on 9.10 or would I need to fiddle with the os kernel?

Hope someone can give me some advice.

Thanks
Alan
