Dear Sir/Madam,
I plan to use 5I20 controller card and OMRON servo amplifiers (model no.: R88D
- UP08H(A)) to operate a 3 axes system. As I know, the OMRON servo amp. can
support Pules+dir format only. I have downloaded 5i20.ini, hm2-servo.hal and
tool.tbl from the internet (linuxcnc cvs). After that, I create a folder in the
configs directory and paste the downloaded files (5i20.ini, hm2-servo.hal and
tool.tbl) and emc.nml, hm2-servo.var on it. Moreover, I also confirm there is a
SVST8_4.BIT firmware in the directory of “/lib/firmware/hm2/5i20” 5i20.ini in
order to satisfy the 5i20.ini’s request.
However, when I run the configure files by using EMC program, there is an error
message, which is listed as following:
