There are not presently any CAN-Bus hardware interfaces supported by
emc2 for position control.
The kinds of hardware interfaces that lend themselves to emc2
compatability are described on our wiki:

I don't know anything about CAN-BUS or typical CAN-BUS interfaces for
PCs, so I don't feel I can say whether it is well-suited or poorly
suited to emc2.
