post processor.I then loaded the program on a USB jump drive
and moved the program to the EMC computer and put the program
in a file on the computer. When I fixed the little differences between the Fanuc
G-code and EMC and started to run it I got some strange resonance
while it was running.(only on single axis moves- 2 axis moves made no noise)
I rewrote the program using the text editor with small case letters
and the one from the text editor ran perfectly.
Is there something on a windows based text file that I cant see
and is causing the resonance?
Also if I let the machine set idle for 5-10 min with no power on the drives and
turn on the drives they will have the same resonance
If I toggle between MDI and Manual the resonance will stop
after 2 or three changes back and forth.
Is there something wrong with my motherboard/M5i20 setup
It was a brand new ASUS motherboard a month ago.
Thanks
Terry
