To cut through the interminable (and largely obscure) literature on
cyber security (stupid name), it's similar to EMC. Device software must
not divulge sensitive information and must resist attempts to corrupt
it. I suppose an RED IoT device is any 'thing' that uses radio to
communicate via the Internet.
