The UK Government can designate EN standards, ISO standards and IEC
standards besides BS standards.

I'm seeing conflicting information as to whether the UK Declaration
of Conformity "Designated Standards" should be the "BS" versions or
the "EN" versions. Every source that I've seen (including very
reputable sources) has stated that the BS version should be cited.
However, I'm seeing that the "EN" versions are being listed as the
Designated Standards at the GOV.UK web site. The following link

It seems pretty clear to me that for now and the foreseeable future
that the European Norm "EN" versions are also the UK Designated
