Just a heads up, I've been working on a ISO build of 2.9.10 built from source 
for you. I've hit some snags cloning the tag but I think I have that sorted now.
(Have to clone 2.9 branch then checkout the tag if you don't clone the whole 
repo.)
This only caused a fail when the ISO was installed. It did not get a desktop 
and I could not log in via the text console. Very odd.
It probably won't get built tonight, but should get it done and tested in the 
morning.
 
I thought this would be so simple because I already had a hook that built 
LinuxCNC from source I could drop in and its day 2 already!    :(
