[O] org-cycle Collapse and Expand

I find it confusing that TAB is bound to org-cycle, which cycles through
3 states. 

It first expands a node, then it expands leaf nodes and then it
collapses the node againt. 

I'd like it to just expand and collapse the current node. 

Any way to set this in some variable?.
