Hi! Maybe Memacs[1] can get you what you want. Fully automatically, without manual action (after initial setup). If you got your emails stored in IMAP or maildir format you can use the corresponding Memacs modules. They periodically index all your emails and derive an Org-mode archive file containing header information and an Org-mode timestamp which appears on your agenda as well.
