Thanks all for this great discussion. I close this thread now: there is a nice consensus on not taking the direction of an "expert mode", and that notion was ill-defined anyway.
Reading all this feedback, I feel confident that the community will be vigilant and tell me if any new feature somehow disrupts the balance we have between usability / feature-richness. Best, -- Bastien
