Hi Carsten
What can I do to get the email address automagically as in the
header as below:
... [Snipped from Wikibook] ....
\title{How to Structure a \LaTeX{} Document}
\author{Andrew Roberts\\
\texttt{an...@comp.leeds.ac.uk}}
\date{\today}
\maketitle
Ascii export does plugin the email-address based on email property.
Shouldn't (org-export-latex-make-header ...) test the email
property and emit the required latex line?
Maybe this will work:
AUTHOR: Andrew Roberts\newline\texttt{{{{EMAIL}}}}}
Btw, I would like to thank you and all other contributors for making
available this wonderful module.

Hi Jambunathan,
that is because \maketitle does not show an email address.

I am seeing latex export honors user-full-name but not user-mail-
address.
The document header goes something like.
#+TITLE: My Title
#+DESCRIPTION:
#+STARTUP: showall
#+LaTeX: \setlength\parindent{0.0in}
#+LaTeX: \setlength\parskip{0.1in}
